CHAPEL HILL – In an unprecedented year, Carolina Gymnastics, led by Interim Head Coach Marie Denick, put together one of the program's most successful seasons in its decorated history.
The team's banquet highlighted both team and individual accomplishments in the gym, as well as recognition for what the program achieved outside of competition.
To begin the season, Carolina opened with a 195.200 against New Hampshire to set a program record score in a season-opening meet. The list of accomplishments just began there- as Carolina posted a 195.581 team NQS, its highest since 2004, and it's highest beam NQS in program history.
