Austin Greaser, a rising senior at the University of North Carolina, made the cut Friday at the 2022 U.S. Open at 2 over par.
Greaser made three birdies and three bogeys to shoot even-par 70 in the second round. He is tied for 41st in the 156-player field at 2-over 142 (72-70). The Vandalia, Ohio, native has the second-lowest score among the 15 amateurs in the field (Travis Vick of Texas is 1 under) and is one of four amateurs to make the cut.
