GoHeels Exclusive: Another Goal Achieved For Lane, Olympic Sports Notes

Morgan Lane had come close before, twice to be exact.

But on Saturday evening at N.C. State's Reynolds Coliseum, Lane finally accomplished one of the few things she had yet to achieve in her storied North Carolina gymnastics career – she qualified for the NCAA Championships.

Lane earned an all-around score of 39.325 to finish in a tie for sixth place at the 2018 NCAA Southeast Regional competition. Despite her standing, she still qualified for the NCAA Championships, held April 20 in St. Louis, with the top all-around score of a non-advancing team from the Raleigh regional.
