After leading the North Carolina women's soccer team with nine goals and 20 points last season, Bridgette Andrzejewski recorded one and seven, respectively, through 10 games this year.
But with the Tar Heels locked in a tie with Duke atop the Atlantic Coast Conference standings, Andrzejewski has elevated her play.
Andrzejewski helped fifth-ranked UNC improve to 12-2 overall and 8-0 in the ACC on Thursday, scoring the third goal in a 4-0 victory at Virginia Tech. With the win, the team finished 6-0 in its regular-season conference road matches.
Thursday's goal, which came in the 74th minute, marked Andrzejewski's fourth in as many games.
