CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – University of North Carolina men's soccer player Milo Garvanian was selected by CF Montréal in the second round of the 2023 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas Wednesday evening. He was taken with the 54th overall pick.
Garvanian, a defender/midfielder, becomes the 51st pick all-time in program history. The Tar Heels have had at least one player selected in the SuperDraft in all but one season since 2005.
The fifth-year led North Carolina in several categories during the 2022 season. He was tied for first on the roster in both goals (4) and assists (4), which included two game-winning goals and two game-winning assists.
