University of North Carolina freshman Peter Fountain shot a 4-under 68 Monday for the second time in as many days and senior Ryan Gerard fired a 2-under 70 to also move into the top 10 after 36 holes at the Camp Creek Seminole Invitational.
Fountain is alone in second place at 8 under par, six strokes behind Clemson's Jacob Bridgeman, who followed his opening-round 64 with a 66 today to take the lead at 14 under.
Fountain is four shots ahead of four players – two from tournament leader Wake Forest and two from host Florida State – at 4 under par.
