Ivory Latta grew up playing basketball on dirt courts in a small York County town, which was the birthplace of one of UNC's most accomplished athletes. With all Latta accomplished through basketball at UNC before playing professionally in the WNBA and overseas, people figured recognition from the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame would come.
