Just in the past 24 hours, we’ve seen first reports that it was all but a done deal that college football wasn’t going to happen, then some players started hashtagging #WeWantToPlay, and then it turned out that it wasn’t the “players just want to play regardless of consequences” ideal that a lot of bad-faith Tweeters wanted it to be, but rather a call for a real seat at the table, maybe even a union:
