CHAPEL HILL—The fourth-ranked University of North Carolina men's soccer team got a goal from Cameron Fisher in the 82nd minute and beat Campbell, 1-0, on Tuesday night at Dorrance Field.
Fisher scored off a long free kick from Riley Thomas, who lofted a pass from just over midfield to Fisher for his third goal of the season.
Fisher now is tied for the team lead in goals with Ernest Bawa and leads the team in points with eight.
The Tar Heels improved to 4-1-1 with the victory, while Campbell fell to 3-2-1.
