CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – After playing its last three games and six of the past seven on the road, the top-ranked North Carolina field hockey team returns home to Karen Shelton Stadium on Friday afternoon to host No. 11 Syracuse. The Atlantic Coast Conference battle starts at 3 p.m. and admission is free.
The match-up has been designated as UNC's Power of Pink Game and fans are invited to wear pink in support of the fight against breast cancer. The first 400 fans at the game will get free pink koozies.
The Tar Heels are raising funds to support the UNC Lineberger Cancer Center with a goal of $5,000.
