One of Bubba Cunningham’s priorities in the spring of 2012 was to develop a sound scheduling philosophy that would provide a template for setting the Tar Heels’ non-conference schedules into the future. Cunningham, the Carolina athletic director since October 2011, met with coach Larry Fedora and other senior athletic administrators after spring practice that first April to begin the process.
