CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Sophomore quarterback Nathan Elliott threw three touchdown passes and redshirt freshman Juval Mollette had three scoring catches as the Tar Heels wrapped up their spring practice with the annual Spring Football Game. The game was played at Fetzer Field due to field construction to Kenan Stadium.
The defense also had its share of highlights as senior defensive end Dajaun Drennon registered three sacks and safety D.J. Ford had 13 tackles. Using a unique scoring system, which awarded points to both teams based on yards gained on certain downs and distances, the defense ultimately prevailed in the scrimmage.
