CHAPEL HILL – Short-handed and in foul trouble Duke mounted a memorable comeback against North Carolina at the Smith Center on Wednesday night and rallied for a stunning 74-73 victory that will be remembered for the Blue Devils' comeback and the Tar Heels' collapse.
UNC led for most of the game and led by eight points, 68-60, with a little less than seven minutes remaining. From there, though, the Tar Heels scored five more points the rest of the way, failed to execute its offense in the game's critical moments and couldn't come up with a stop defensively.
