Joseph M. DeSimone, Chancellor’s Eminent Professor of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at UNC, has been named the recipient of the inaugural $250,000 Kabiller Prize in Nanoscience and Nanomedicine for his invention and use of PRINT, a breakthrough technology used to make advances toward the development of new cancer treatments, inhalable therapeutics and next generation vaccines.
