College football's greatest teams: The best season from every ACC program

North Carolina (1997): UNC laid claim to ACC championships in 1976 and again in 1980, but that ACC arguably wasn't as tough as the league was in 1997. It took a few years to get going, but Mack Brown's Tar Heels were producing NFL talents regularly and in 1996 and 1997, finishing with double-digit wins and top-10 finishes. The 1997 team was ranked in the top 10 for the entire season and only lost once, to Florida State. (CBS Sports)
