The Chicago Bulls (39-43) snuck into the NBA Play-In Tournament as the No. 9 seed in the Eastern Conference. After sitting 14 games sub-.500 in early March, a scorching hot close to the season rejuvenated a year that was nearly lost for the Bulls.
A lot of that surge can be accredited to former Tar Heel Coby White, who averaged 24.4 PPG after the All-Star break and received back-to-back NBA Player of the Week awards in March. He finished his sixth NBA regular season averaging 20.4 PPG, the most of his career and a team high.
It hasn't always fit for White in Chicago.
