The top player in the Class of 2016 is leaving the state of North Carolina.
The No. 1 player in ESPN’s Power 100, Harry Giles, announced that he is transferring from Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, N.C.) to Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. The 6-foot-10 Forward released the news in an interview with USA Today and posted this on Twitter:
Giles is one of the top UNC targets in the class and recently narrowed down his list down to five teams including UNC, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and Wake Forest. The general consensus is that Giles would stay in-state and attend either UNC or Duke but now with the move it could change some things.
