On Monday, we went over the — seemingly as is tradition — North Carolina Tar Heels alumni who will be part of the USWNT soccer roster at this year’s Summer Olympics. However, with a overall athletic department as strong as UNC, that’s far from the only sport that has athletes good enough to compete at the Olympic level.
With the games in Paris now less than a month away, more and more participants across the various sports this summer are being announced. While there will hopefully be plenty more Tar Heels to be confirmed going to France soon, there’s already a couple so far.
