CHAPEL HILL—Ty Chandler ran for 213 yards and four touchdowns as North Carolina beat No. 10 Wake Forest, 58-55, in a non-conference game between longtime Atlantic Coast Conference rivals on an overcast Saturday afternoon at Kenan Stadium. With the win, UNC improved to 5-4 overall this season. Wake Forest took its first loss of the season and fell to 8-1.
Carolina outscored Wake, 24-7, in the fourth quarter.
The Tar Heels overcame an 18-point deficit with under five minutes to play in the third quarter to tie things at 48-all in the final 10 minutes of the fourth period.
