Ivory Latta had plenty of occasions to celebrate in a Carolina jersey, so it's fitting she kicks off our Celebrate Carolina series. Each Thursday, we'll be serving up a new highlight from UNC women's basketball program history, and it's safe to say Latta will make additional appearances.
For starters, however, we're looking back to her play at the Atlantic Coast Conference tournaments in 2005, 2006 and 2007, all played in Greensboro, N.C. The guard from McConnells, S.C., led the Tar Heels to three consecutive crowns and was named ACC Tournament MVP all three years. She remains the only player in conference history to earn MVP honors three times.
