PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - Hayley Carter and Whitney Kay will play for the Main Draw doubles title on Sunday at the Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championship.
Scheduled for a 3 p.m. ET start, Carolina’s duo will face Cal’s third-seeded tandem of Maegan Manasse and Denise Starr in the championship match.
Ranked No. 15 nationally, but unseeded in the tournament, Carter and Kay claimed the first spot in the finals after defeating Georgia’s Ellen Perez and Mariana Gould, 6-4, 6-4, in Saturday’s semifinal match.
The Tar Heel duo upset top-seeded Brooke Austin and Kourtney Keegan of Florida, 8-2, in the quarterfinals on Friday.
