No. 19 North Carolina will take on Virginia in its first ACC Championship game on Wednesday, May 22 at 7 p.m. at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in the first game of group play for Pool D. This will be the fourth meeting this season between the Tar Heels and the Cavaliers as the Heels took two of the first three in Chapel Hill a month ago. In a must win game for both sides, the loser of this matchup cannot advance out of group play due to the ACC Championship tie breaker rule which states that the higher seed advances if teams have a matching record.
