Carolina Sits 12th At NCAA Women's Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. - North Carolina sits in 12th place after two days of the NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships from the Greensboro Aquatic Center.

The Tar Heels have compiled 61 points thus far as a team, and are only four points outside the top-10. Virginia and NC State are currently 1-2 in the team standings with 184 and 124 points, respectively.

The first event of Thursday's finals saw Carolina's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Grace Countie, Heidi Lowe, Sophie Lindner and Amy Dragelin earn All-America status by finishing seventh with a season-best time of 1:28.
