CHAPEL HILL - Carolina plays its second road game in as many weeks Saturday when the Tar Heels make the short drive to Greenville to take on in-state foe East Carolina at 3:30 p.m. The two teams have met 17 times overall, including on nine occasions since 2000, but this weekend will mark the first meeting since 2014.
The Tar Heels dropped their season opener last Saturday in Berkeley to Cal, 24-17. UNC held the Golden Bears to 279 total yards and just 3.4 yards per play, but four turnovers and 13 penalties for 124 yards proved to be too much to overcome.
