CHAPEL HILL - Coming off back-to-back College Cup appearances, the University of North Carolina men's soccer team's 2018 schedule will feature no fewer than seven teams that participated in the NCAA Championship last season. Included in that group is fellow College Cup participate and semifinal opponent Indiana as well as a NCAA second-round opponent UNCW.
The 2018 campaign will be a unique one in the long history of this championship program. The Tar Heels' home grounds of Fetzer Field is still under construction and is scheduled to reopen as a state-of-the-art facility later in the year, meaning for the second straight season Carolina will not play its home matches on campus in Chapel Hill.
