Buies Creek, N.C. – North Carolina captured its sixth straight win on Tuesday night, shutting out Campbell University, 6-0. The Tar Heels out-hit the Camels 11-3 in the game en route to their fourth shutout of the season. With the win, UNC improves to 22-5 while CU falls to 15-14.
The first three batters in the order accounted for seven hits in the game, led by Berlynne Delamora who went 3-for-3 with an RBI and her 29th walk of the season. Taylor Wike went 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs, and Leah Murray was 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs scored.
