In the most crucial moment of Sunday's ACC Tournament championship game with Syracuse, Marie McCool was sitting down. The All-ACC sophomore midfielder was not on the field, without her stick. She was helpless.
McCool had been in the draw circle moments before. She'd won four draw controls on the day and then won a fifth, after Carolina's go-ahead goal with 36 seconds to play.
