CHAPEL HILL – The Carolina football program has inked a home-and-home series with UConn for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. The 2026 game will be played in Chapel Hill on Saturday, Sept. 19, while the 2027 game will be held in East Hartford, Conn. on Saturday, Sept. 18.
This will mark the fifth and sixth match-ups between the Tar Heels and Huskies. Carolina is hosting UConn this fall on Nov. 7 and has won the first three games of the series, which were played in 1990, 2008 and '09.
These are the first non-conference games announced for both the '26 and '27 seasons.
