Tar Heel Poll Notes
♦ Ranked No. 2/1 last week, North Carolina (19-4, 8-2 ACC) fell seven spots in both national polls to to No 9 (Associated Press) and No. 8 (coaches) in the rankings this week.
♦ Carolina sat atop the coaches poll a week ago and was second in the AP poll before losing back-to-back road games at Louisville and at Notre Dame.
♦ UNC has been in the top 10 of both polls for 13 of 14 weeks during the 2015-16 season, falling to No. 11 for a week after its loss at Texas on Dec.
