TEMPE, Arizona - The North Carolina women's tennis program earned four regional awards given out by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Monday.
Courtney Nagle was selected the Carolina Region Assistant Coach of the Year. Now in her third season with the Tar Heels, Nagle garners the award for the first time. Her mentoring, both on-and-off the court, has helped Carolina set a program record with 32 dual match victories in 2017.
Hayley Carter is the region's Senior Player of the Year. The 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year has become the most decorated player in the history of the Tar Heel program.
