CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The UNC rowing team wrapped a week of winter training on Dec. 18 with a Habitat for Humanity build day. Working at a site in Efland, the Tar Heels helped construct a home for a local family.
“It was a great experience for our team,” UNC coach Sarah Haney said. “It is so easy, especially during a week long training camp, to be hyper-focused on becoming a better team. Going out and serving the community in this capacity really helps put everything into perspective about all that we are fortunate to have available to us as people and as a team.
