University of North Carolina sophomore men's golfer Ryan Burnett is one of 15 candidates on Golfweek's Fall Haskins Award Watch List.
The Haskins Award is presented annually to the men's college golfer of the year.
Burnett leads the seventh-ranked Tar Heels in stroke average at 68.83. The Lafayette, Calif., native has has finished first (Turning Stone Tiger Invitational in Verona, N.Y.), second (at Notre Dame), third (at Duke) and 17th (Olympia Fields Country Club/Fighting Illini Invitational) in four tournaments this season.
He's shot in the 60s in seven of 12 rounds this season, including all three rounds at Turning Stone (69-65-64), two rounds at Duke (69-66) and two rounds at Notre Dame (69-67).
