The nation’s 21st-ranked team hosts Duke Saturday at noon in another battle for the Victory Bell. At 4-0 in Atlantic Coast Conference play, Carolina is the lone unbeaten team in the Coastal Division, but with a win, Duke can pull even and take the tiebreaker.
It’s an unfamiliar position for the Tar Heels, but a happy one: Carolina has not been 4-0 in conference play in 18 years, and the program is ranked in the AP Top 25 poll for the first time since November 2009.
