CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The No. 13 North Carolina Tar Heels open a three-game ACC Coastal Division baseball series against the Miami Hurricanes at Boshamer Stadium on Thursday.
The Tar Heels enter the game with an overall record of 23-10 and 8-5 in the ACC, while the Hurricanes own an overall record of 20-12 with an 8-7 conference ledger. UNC leads by Miami by one game for second place in the ACC's Coastal Division.
North Carolina posted a 10-6 win over Queens University at home Tuesday night, scoring seven runs in the first inning. It was the 11th time the Tar Heels scored double digit runs in a game this season.
