Bacot Earns Academic All-ACC Honor

North Carolina's Armando Bacot was named to the 2022 Academic All-Atlantic Coast Conference team, the conference announced today.

The junior from Richmond, Va., is one of three first-team All-ACC men's basketball players – with Syracuse's Buddy Boeheim and Wake Forest's Alondes Williams – to also make the Academic All-ACC team.

Bacot led the Tar Heels to their 21st Final Four and 12th national championship game. He led the nation with an NCAA-record tying 31 double-doubles, led the ACC in rebounding (13.1 per game) and offensive rebounds (4.2 per game) and led the Tar Heels in scoring (16.
