Armando Bacot is continuing to chase his dream of playing in the NBA with the Memphis Hustle in the NBA G League. Last week might have brought him a little closer to getting a shot in the NBA.
The former UNC center set a franchise record by corralling 25 rebounds in the Memphis Hustle’s 115-109 comeback win over the Santa Cruz Warriors. Bacot also scored 34 points, making this the first time a Memphis player has had a 30 point/20 rebound game in franchise history. The Hustle rallied from being down 17 points in the fourth quarter to win the game.
