Indians manager Terry Francona said every time lefty reliever Andrew Miller throws during his recovery from a sore right knee, he takes a step in the right direction. Miller took another step Wednesday when he threw about 40 pitches from the mound at Progressive Field prior to the Tribe's game against Cincinnati.
