Tonight has been an active night for the Tar Heels. First, it was announced that UNC was no longer recruiting BYU transfer Kanon Catchings, which ultimately led to him committing to Georgia. Now, former Alabama power forward Jarin Stevenson has committed to the Tar Heels, earning Hubert Davis yet another talented player in the transfer portal.
If you aren’t super familiar with Alabama’s roster but you feel like you’ve heard Stevenson’s name before, there’s a reason. Stevenson was a four-star recruit out of high school that UNC recruited pretty heavily before he ultimately decided to commit to Alabama.
