The ACC Tournament kicked off yesterday, and Notre Dame won the right to face off against the Tar Heels in the second round. The Fighting Irish managed to escape the Spectrum Center with a win thanks to a controversial foul call in the final seconds. Now they have to deal with a Carolina team that was red hot up until the loss to Duke, but it’s hard to imagine that they won’t be prepared for what will be an important game to keep the Heels’ NCAA Tournament hopes alive.
You may recall that the Heels managed to take down Notre Dame earlier in the season, but the Irish weren’t quite 100% healthy at that time.
