ACC Football: Title game to remain in Charlotte through 2030

The Atlantic Coast Conference Football Championship Game will remain in Charlotte, North Carolina until 2030, according to an announcement from the league office on Thursday morning.

A 10-year agreement between the ACC and the Charlotte Sports Foundation was reached that will keep the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game in Charlotte for at least another 12 years, per an announcement made by league commissioner John Swofford.

The league’s title game has been played at Bank of America Stadium since 2010, and ranks second among all conferences in championship game attendance during that time span.

Four of the previous seven ACC Championship games have sold out, including Clemson’s blowout win over Miami last season.
