The month of October will be one for the record books. In the first week of October, undefeated teams TCU and Michigan State needed huge second halves to hold off lesser competition. As wild as that may seem, it was down right pedestrian for the rest of the month. The second week of October brought the punt six. A guaranteed Michigan win was destroyed after the punter gave the ball away and Michigan State returned it 38 yards for a game winning TD. Not to be outdone Georgia Tech, after kicking the game tying field goal, had the block six in the third week of October.
