There’s usually a flurry of recruiting activity following any big evaluation event, and this past weekend was one of the biggest. UNC got in on the action early, extending its first 2021 offer to potentially the best player in the class, Paolo Banchero.
But the recruits have their own decision making process to go through at events like this as well, communicating with various coaches and seeing how they mesh with various personalities. A lot of high schoolers leave these things with clearer ideas of where they want to be for the next step in their basketball journeys, with all the information they could want about any school they could want just over on the sidelines.
