The United States Women’s Soccer Team has officially become the second team in history to win back-to-back World Cup titles after a 2-0 win in Sunday’s final against the Netherlands. It was a dominant performance again by the USWNT throughout the entire World Cup in France, capturing their fourth title when it was all said and done.
Things started off a little slow in Sunday’s match as the US had chances to score early in the first half but were denied by keeper Sari van Veenendaal. The keeper turned away four shots in that first half, keeping the Dutch in it.
