True Freshman Paul McNeil had a breakout performance in NC State’s 85-73 win over Wake Forest on Saturday, scoring 24 points against the Demon Deacons, shooting 8 of 13 from the field, and 4 of 7 from three. McNeil reminded everyone that he’s the guy that broke the North Carolina High School record for points scored in a game, when he dropped 71 points on Lee County last year, smashing a record that had stood strong for 74 years.
