Junior Tight End Justin Joly (6’3″/235) transferred to NC State from UCONN this past offseason, and likely will be one of Wolfpack Quarterback Grayson McCall’s primary targets this season. Joly was the #2 Tight End in the Transfer Portal this offseason.
He had an incredible Sophomore campaign last season, catching 56 passes for 578 yards and 2 touchdowns. Joly had 4 receptions for 38 yards in the season opener against the Wolfpack.
Joly has the 2nd highest PFF Receiving Grade of all returning ACC Tight Ends.
Last year, Joly forced 20 missed tackles and caught 12 contested passes, which was the highest of any Tight End nationally in both categories.
