The Mavs had lost 3 straight coming into their matchup with the Magic. Dennis Smith Jr, decided it was time to put a stop to that.
The former Wolfpack PG went off, scoring a game-high (tied w/ Dirk Nowitzki) 20 points, grabbing 7 rebounds and dishing out 3 assists…all without a single turnover.
That makes it two straight games (59 total minutes) without a turnover for the rookie, who now is averaging 14 points, 4.5 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 2.7 turnovers per game.
At just 20 years old, Dennis Smith Jr is already becoming a franchise player for the Mavs and looking like he’ll be leading the next wave of all-star PGs.
