The secondary was an obvious weak point for the Washington Redskins this past season. DeAngelo Hall and David Amerson started the season at both left and right cornerback. DeAngelo was the experienced veteran entering his 11th season while Amerson was just entering his second year out of North Carolina State. The inexperience showed in Amerson’s play. The former Wolfpack started 15 games this season with having only seven pass deflections and zero interceptions. DeAngelo ruptured his achilles tendon in week three against the Philadelphia Eagles and was placed on the IR for the remaining of the season.
