Trea Turner is Nationals’ All-Time Steals leader!

Trea Turner, who just entered the Washington Nationals record books this past week as the first player in franchise history to log back-to-back 40 steal seasons, is getting his name in there again. This time as an all-time leader.

Yesterday, the former Wolfpack SS reached 5 times, going 2-2 with 3 walks, an RBI, a run, and a stolen base. That stolen base was his 123rd stolen base, putting him past Ian Desmonds 122 and making him the Nationals’ all-time stolen base leader.

This is a huge accomplishment for a guy playing in only his 4th season (2 of which were shortened by injury).
