Bishop went undrafted in the 2013 NFL Draft, but was signed as a free agent by the Minnesota Vikings. Bishop was then cut by the Vikings during the 2014 training camp. In January, the Falcons signed Bishop to their practice squad, but he was cut in May. The pickup of Bishop by the Eagles is rather ironic. On Friday the Eagles waived another former NC State safety, Earl Wolff, after he had another knee surgery on Thursday.
