The Pack held a 6-2 lead after four innings of the Friday opener, but a 5th inning grand slam by Clemson outfielder Dylan Brewer tied things up and completely shifted momentum and confidence. Clemson would score four more runs in the 8th inning while Tigers reliver Nick Clayton shut down NC State’s bats, leading to the 10-6 final score.
